Blackmouth Games has recently introduced Domenation Early Access, a third-person shooter game that puts a unique twist on the popular battle royale genre. The game is now available on multiple platforms, including Steam, Ultra, Elixir Games, and HyperPlay. Domenation immerses players in an intense environment where they must not only face off against each other but also battle menacing Mutants on an island.
Unlike traditional battle royale games that shrink the play area over time, Domenation introduces players to the concept of “Domes” and “Pulse.” Players must seek refuge within energy shields called Domes to avoid the dangerous Pulse phenomenon that occurs every minute. As the game progresses, the number of Domes available decreases, leading to more intense combat situations and eventually culminating in a final showdown within a Dome.
The current Early Access version of Domenation supports matches with up to 28 players, with plans to expand to accommodate up to 42 participants in future updates. Each game lasts for 12 minutes, providing a paced and engaging gameplay experience. Players have the freedom to explore the map, scavenge for loot, and engage in battles with AI opponents to acquire valuable items. The game also offers opportunities for character customization through skins and chips that enhance gameplay mechanics.
Throughout the map, players can find chests filled with loot, including weapons, grenades, shields, and health packs. Rare items are more challenging to locate but essential for outlasting opponents in intense battles. Blackmouth Games is actively engaging with the community and planning to implement Play to Earn features in Domenation. By involving players in the game’s development process and adapting based on feedback, the game remains dynamic and relevant, presenting new challenges and opportunities for players.
While the full implementation of Play to Earn mechanics is not yet active, Domenation plans to introduce a system featuring $DOMEN as its utility token. Players will have the chance to earn $DOMEN through various in-game actions, such as completing challenges and participating in tournaments. This utility token can be used to acquire non-fungible tokens (NFTs), enhance player experiences, and unlock exclusive benefits within the game. Additionally, players can participate in an NFT mint raffle on Premint by signing up with their wallet address and completing quests for a chance to win one of 3,000 NFTs.
