SBI Holdings Launches NFT Minting Service on XRP Ledger

SBI Holdings, a financial services company based in Tokyo, Japan, has made a groundbreaking announcement in partnership with Ripple. They are introducing an NFT minting service on the XRP Ledger for the upcoming World Expo 2025. This initiative is part of the ‘EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet’ project, which aims to enhance the Expo experience through digital collectibles.

Myaku N!: The Exclusive NFT Service

The newly launched service, named “Myaku N!,” will be available through the EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet app, provided at the Expo in Osaka/Kansai. Users can easily download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to receive complimentary NFTs. However, to add an exclusive touch, SBI Holdings has decided to limit the service to only 500 users. This move aims to create a sense of scarcity and exclusivity among the participants.

Engaging with NFTs at the World Expo 2025

SBI Holdings plans to mint 920 XRPL-based NFTs for the World Expo 2025 as part of the “MYAKU-N!” project. These unique digital collectibles will be accessible to attendees through the MYAKU-N! digital wallets. Users can earn and collect NFTs by actively participating in various Expo activities, both in the real world and online, via the “MyakuMyaku Reward Program.” Furthermore, these commemorative NFTs cannot be transferred or sold, enhancing their value as exclusive Expo memorabilia.

To further engage users, the service allows them to improve their standings by using “Myakupe!” – the Expo’s electronic money – and participating in other interactions at the event. Starting July 1, users can collect original NFTs from the EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet or create their own NFTs by uploading chosen images, thereby making the experience inclusive for newcomers to the NFT space. The aim is to cater to the expected 28.2 million visitors at the Expo, providing them with a unique and memorable experience.

The NFTs from the World Expo 2025 will be viewable in real-time using the NFT explorer Bithomp, but they will be inaccessible after October 13, 2025, when the EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet closes down. Additionally, participants can look forward to extra benefits, lucky draws, and prizes through the “Myakumyakupon!” gift campaign to enhance user engagement and offer opportunities to acquire rare NFTs. This initiative underscores the SBI Group’s focus on XRP and NFTs, showcasing the transformative potential of these crypto-related technologies in the industry.

SBI Holdings’ collaboration with Ripple to introduce the Myaku N! NFT service at the 2025 World Expo sets a precedent for leveraging blockchain technology in mainstream events. This innovative initiative demonstrates the creative applications of digital assets and the promising future of NFTs in enhancing user experiences at large-scale events.
