Futureverse, a company specializing in AI and metaverse technologies, has recently announced a groundbreaking partnership with Animoca Brands, a leader in digital property rights and blockchain-based entertainment. This strategic collaboration aims to elevate Futureverse’s metaverse technology by seamlessly integrating it with Animoca Brands’ extensive ecosystem of blockchain products. The companies have agreed to conduct an equity swap valued at a staggering $5 million as part of this transformative agreement.
The partnership is cemented through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), with Animoca Brands subscribing to shares of Futureverse, valuing the company at an impressive $754 million. In return, Futureverse will acquire shares in Animoca Brands Corporation Limited, solidifying a mutually beneficial relationship. This strategic alliance is set to enrich the Futureverse token ecosystem, which includes The Root Network’s ROOT token, the ASTO token for Futureverse’s AI protocol, and the SYLO token for communication and social graph protocols.
Futureverse’s innovative AI and metaverse tools will be seamlessly integrated with Animoca Brands’ expansive portfolio of over 400 Web3 projects. Futureverse’s tech stack boasts a plethora of cutting-edge features, including Pass – a digital passport for identity management; DOT (Dynamic Object Transfer) – a tool for creating digital collectibles; and the Swappables and Wearables Engine for composable digital assets. Furthermore, Futureverse is pioneering generative AI technology with DOC (Dynamic Object Creator) and JEN, a text-to-music generation platform.
The collaboration between Futureverse and Animoca Brands aims to leverage the development of The Root Network, a user-friendly Layer 1 blockchain that is optimized for interoperability. By integrating these technologies, the partnership seeks to enhance Animoca Brands’ ecosystem and expedite the growth and adoption of Web3 technologies. Yat Siu, executive chairman and co-founder of Animoca Brands, expressed his optimism about the partnership by highlighting the potential of Futureverse’s technology stack to enhance their extensive portfolio of Web3 investments.
Futureverse has demonstrated its creative prowess through innovative projects such as Reebok Impact – an AI-driven fashion experience on Instagram that enables users to design custom digital sneakers. Additionally, the company has embarked on a significant initiative known as The Readyverse, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery, to bring the renowned Ready Player One franchise into the metaverse. This ambitious project will leverage the Futureverse Platform and The Root Network to create an immersive discovery experience for users.
The partnership between Futureverse and Animoca Brands will also involve collaboration with Mocaverse, Animoca Brands’ growth network, to advance interoperability across the Moca Network.
