Apeiron Guild Wars 2024 is gearing up to be one of the most exciting events in the gaming world, bringing together guilds from all corners of the globe for a chance to compete for a significant $1,000,000 USD prize pool. Set to take place on the Ronin blockchain, this event promises not only fierce competition but also the introduction of new features and tokens to enhance the player experience.
The Guild Wars will be split into two distinct phases, with the first phase focusing on the leaderboards. Running from May 21, 2024, to July 2, 2024, guilds will have the opportunity to register and compete to secure top ranks. Once the leaderboard phase concludes, the event will transition to the Guild Wars Invitational, where the top 12 guilds from each region will battle it out for supremacy. Guilds can choose to compete in either the Southeast Asia (SEA) or North America (NA) region, or even opt to participate in both.
While some specifics of the tournament are still being finalized, key aspects have already been revealed. The tournament will feature a double-elimination bracket, where participants will be eliminated after losing two matches. The top four seeded guilds will receive a first-round bye, automatically advancing to the second round. The grand finals will take place in Hong Kong, with the top contenders coming together to compete for the ultimate prize.
Guild registration for the event is currently open, with competition on the leaderboards set to kick off on May 21. To qualify for the invitational phase, guilds must earn a minimum of 1,000 ranked stars during the leaderboard phase. Alt-accounting is strictly prohibited, and guilds must have a minimum of 25 members or 300 followers to participate in the tournament.
Starting May 21, 2024, players will have the opportunity to earn $ANIMA, the win-to-earn and player incentive token, in-game. Tradable on Katana Dex, $ANIMA can be used to enhance Apeiron NFTs and will also be available for in-game top-ups as Animus in the upcoming Apeiron top-up store. Players who have accumulated $ANIMA Airdrop Points will see these points converted into battle-ready $ANIMA on the same date, adding an extra layer of excitement to the competition.
In addition to the Guild Wars, Apeiron will be launching the S3 PvE dungeon for testing on May 23. Following the successful open beta of the Apeiron Arena, this new feature will allow Primeval owners to access an early build via the #alpha-access channel on Discord. Players can use their own Planet NFTs to test their Avatars in the PvE mode, adding a new dimension to the gameplay experience.
